SENIOR CHARGERS

Compete at the Highest Level of Community Basketball

The Senior Surfcoast Chargers represent Surfcoast Basketball Association in Basketball Victoria’s Big V Competition, one of Victoria’s premier senior basketball leagues. The Big V season runs annually from March through to August, bringing together teams from metropolitan and regional associations across the state.

As one of Victoria’s newest basketball associations, we are incredibly proud to field four Big V representative teams:

Youth League Women
Youth League Men
Senior Women
Senior Men

Our senior representative program provides a pathway for local athletes to continue their basketball journey beyond junior representative basketball while competing at a high standard in a professional and supportive environment.

Youth League

The Youth League competition is designed for players Under 23 years of age, providing an important development pathway between junior representative basketball and senior competition.

Big V Tryouts

Open runs for our Senior Surfcoast Chargers program are held annually in October in preparation for the following Big V season. Tryout dates and registration details are advertised through the Surfcoast Basketball Association website and our social media channels.

Whether you’re an existing Charger, returning to basketball or looking for a new representative opportunity, we encourage all interested players to register for tryouts.
