Surfcoast Basketball Association is proudly affiliated with Basketball Victoria, our governing body. Basketball Victoria is highly active in maintaining up-to-date policies covering a wide range of areas including Child Safety, Inclusion, and Codes of Conduct. BV INSURANCE
Member Insurance Coverage
All registered members of Surfcoast Basketball Association are covered under Basketball Victoria’s insurance program, managed by V-Insurance Group (a corporate authorised representative of Willis). This coverage includes various forms of protection for players, officials, and volunteers.
The V-Insurance Basketball website offers detailed information on what is included, such as:
- Types of coverage: Personal Accident, Public Liability, Professional Indemnity, Management Liability, and Cyber Liability
- Policy documents and summary brochures available for download
- Match day checklists and safety guidelines
- Instructions on how to make a claim, including access to the Personal Accident Claim Form
- Certificate of Currency requests (email: insurance@basketballvictoria.com.au)
